RG-RAP6260(G) Basestation and TP-Link Home Routers as Stations

In my wisp topology I am using RG6260(G) as a base station and using TP-Link home router as station. For this I have configured the TP-link in WISP mode. See the network diagram below.

In this guide, I will explain how I configured the Ruijie RG-RAP6260(G) as an AP(Access Point) or Basestation and the the TP-Link home routers as stations for each client.

Here through the Rujie cloud, a new SSID is created using RG6260(G), say the SSID is just client#1 and the SSID password is client#1p. See below.

Now, we need to login to the TL-Link home router and set it in WISP mode, selecting the RG6260(G) emitted SSID, client#1, providing its password and set local SSID as Client 1 WiFi which in this case is client#1p

Then on the PC go to the WiFi and select Client 1 WiFi and enter the password. Now you are connected to the internet.

Captive portal page

The other possibility is create a captive portal page during the new SSID creation in the Rujie Basestation by going to the advanced option.

See the following video which shows how to configure the base station and the stations.
